AWARDS
RECORD NUMBER OF METAL POWDER INDUSTRY AWARDS
Since 1965 the MPIF consisting of approximately 70 powdered metal parts
manufacturing companies has conducted a "part of the year" competition. The winners are
chosen by an independent panel of judges who are not allowed to know which company produced the
entry part. Parts are judged on the bases of complexity, cost saving to the customer, close tolerances,
material properties and uniqueness of application among other considerations.
ASCO sintering has won twenty seven awards in this competition. More than any other MPIF member company
by a wide margin. We have won awards for parts in the following materials and market categories.
