BRASS VALVE GUIDE
Specializing in complex, multi-level powdered metal parts’ non ferrous and ferrous powders….
ASCO Sintering is a leader in the design and
engineering of progressive powder metallurgy
components (such as brass valve guides),
specializing in complex, multi-level powdered
metal parts. Brass valve guides manufactured
utilizing the powdered metal process is produced
using a complex tooling design, but with a large
cost savings over the prior design that used
machined extrusions. The complex powder metal
brass valve guide manufactured by ASCO Sintering
is produced with the least amount of scrap, resulting
in additional cost savings.
ASCO Sintering utilizes a wide range of materials
in the powdered metallurgy process and the sintering of ferrous powders, including iron
steels, stainless steel, brass and other metals.
These materials enhance the desired cosmetic,
security, and structural properties of the finished
powdered metal component. The many advantages
of powdered metal parts include the ability to
withstand fire, endure the natural elements
(and the harsh variations of the outside
environment), and have great strength properties
including impact resistance. Powdered metal
hardware applications include locking rings,
latch bolts, cams, levers, slides, dead bolts,
and other associated components. |
