Even greater cost savings using the Powder Metallurgy process can be realized through the Assembly of Sintered Metal parts.
At ASCO we have proven industry award winning capability in combining two halves of the same part either through sinter-bonding, resistance welding or copper-infiltration brazing.
Sintered Metal assemblies include a copper-infiltrated latch-bolt slide retractor for door lock mechanisms, a 70/30 – 80/20 brass sprinkler radius adjuster for lawn & garden application, a sinter-bonded planetary gear carrier plate and splined output shaft for the automotive industry and a sinter-hardened two piece “mirror” plier set for the sports and leisure market.
Shape complexity and close dimensional and geometric callouts are extremely well suited for manufacture by Conventional Powder Metallurgy Sintered Assembly methods.
LET US BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF YOUR NEXT PROJECT.
